Kolkata tops in cybercrime table, The Kolkata figures are scarier - a 1033.3 % jump between 2011 and 2015. Among those arrested last year for cybercrimes were four students and six minors, who were treated as "sexual freaks". The spurt in such cases also indicates that police are increasingly filing cases under IPC sections, giving the Cyber Crime Act a miss.

Over the past five years, the demand for cybersecurity professionals grew 3.5 times faster than other IT jobs (12 times faster than all jobs). And information security professionals earn on average about $12,000 more than the average of all computer jobs.
